Why was Slurp Coffee Founded?
Slurp Coffee was born out of a spirit of exploration and a desire to redefine what coffee can and should represent. What began as a search for more meaningful expression has grown into
the Slurp Coffee Project: a platform dedicated to elevating the way people
experience and connect with coffee.
What we do at Slurp Coffee?
Our mission is straightforward but impactful: to be the bridge between coffee producers and the people who drink their coffee. We source with intention, placing genuine value on quality,
sustainability, and transparency, and we serve every coffee with the passion it
deserves. Each cup tells the story of the hands that nurtured it from farm to
roast to brew.
A commitment to the Southeast Asian Region.
At the heart of our work is a commitment to Southeast Asia. We build direct trade relationships with farmers across the Philippines, Vietnam, Timor-Leste, and Thailand, origins that remain
underrepresented in Singapore’s specialty coffee scene. These partnerships go
beyond transactions.
Direct trade gives us access to coffees that rarely reach this market, and gives our producers something equally valuable: honest feedback, a direct line to consumers, and a relationship built on mutual respect. A Commitment to Southeast Asia
Education and Community
Alongside our roasting operation, Slurp Coffee runs an education arm grounded in the same philosophy. We believe accessibility and quality are not at odds that when consumers
develop a deeper understanding of what they’re drinking, specialty coffee becomes
more meaningful, not more intimidating. Through tastings, workshops, and
structured courses, we work to close the gap between the farm and the cup, and
between the expert and the everyday drinker.
Be part of the change
We invite you to join us on this journey of exploration and collaboration. Together, we can create a space that uplifts producers, enriches communities, and drives positive change within the coffee industry. Slurp Coffee is more than just coffee. It’s a movement towards better connections, better practices, and a better future for coffee.
